Air Purifying Plants
"Good or bad, nonetheless it will end."
With the unfavourable outbreak of the Novel Coronavirus, better known as the COVID-19, which has led to many undesirable outcomes, there is no doubt that the public is disconcerted and on high alert.
The recent outbreak has led many to an extended home-stay. Whether it may be that you are feeling unwell or you are minimising your contact with the public, your responsible actions all go towards the prevention of a more significant outbreak.
We gave the idea of an extended homestay some thought, thinking of ways to uplift the quality of stay at home. So we thought, why not freshen the indoor air with some air purifying indoor plants.
We don't just mean the primary photosynthesis where plants give off more oxygen; we are talking about removing harmful compounds and pollutants from the air! Little did you know that Air Purifying plants do exist and not only look lovely but work a little harder to clean the air you breathe in.
To give a simple summary of how Air Purifying plants work, the process of using these natural plants and their purifying mechanisms is called phytoremediation. These plants remove pollutants from the air by absorbing it through their leaves and roots for contaminants in the soil.
We spend almost 90% of the time indoors, so indoor air quality matters as do you. We believe it is time to virtually knock down those stuffy four walls and get some fresh air as if you were outdoors, which is only possible naturally with our indoor Air Purifying plants.
